@martchart Ok, you are right, I am wrong I admit it. I saw those new datel memory stick things and they say that you can downgrade the psp 3000’s , but I guess they turned out to be a scam.bummer.
@rumpeltiezerwash its good that you trying to help him but you doesnt know what you’re talking about. You cant downgrade from 6.20 to 5.03 on the PSP3000
@0895julio it will work but you must first downgrade to version 5.03 i believe. This can possibly brick your psp though and you need a special memory stick to downgrade.
having your psp unlocked is one of the greatest things ever.
but if your having trouble (its not as easy as people claim), just go to PlayBrewStation . info – its incredibly easier than trying to do it yourself

ok i have a psp 3001 and i had 5.03 gen on it. one day i back up my flash 0 files and i didnt touch anything just copy then i decide to see what flash 1 is so i switch the usb to flash 1 and my psp got really slow. i tried to switch it back but it stays that way whenever i use gen-A,B,C so i try cfw enabler but it still slows down it is weird because when i used cfw enabler it said it was still 5.03 gen-a(full) so i tried a different version of cfw enabler and that worked but i want gen-c help!!

it does that u must have 5.03 firmware and then keep doing the picture thing till the screen get al messed up then go to the installer loader and click on it it took me about 35 times for the picture thing to work
hey it did that to me the best computer to do it on is either a mac or a laptop i had to use my friends laptop to do it
i dont really like this becuase u cant get fun homebrew on it like google earth or pspsmasher or halo anything like that they havent made for 5.03 gen a
when i tried this my psp hangs then after 5 secs it crashes…….. how to do this?
