Yes you use an unhacked or hacked PSP to create a magic memory stick.

Kevsbud November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

I meant a hacked psp to make a magic memory stick, Or can i do it on an unhacked one?

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

A hacked PSP for what? The whole point of a magic memory stick and pandora battery is to hack a PSP.

Kevsbud November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Thanks, but i do need a hacked psp correct?

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Nope but you need both to hack the PSP

Kevsbud November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Well you probably reformatted your memory stick which erases all of your games, music, and any media saved onto your memory stick.

Did you hard mod your battery or soft mod it?

blackmadcat777 November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

no i hack my psp long time ago. it was working fine until it broke :(

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Congratulations it sounds like you have a Pandoras battery which allows you to hack your firmware, that’s my guess because the Pandoras battery turns the PSP on automatically and if you don’t have a magic memory stick in it will sit on a black screen. Did you previously hack your PSP?

blackmadcat777 November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

i think the battery broke because when i take out the battery and put it back in then my psp turns on automatic for some reason. nothing happens its just stuck on this black screen

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

What broke in your PSP?

blackmadcat777 November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

to bad my psp broke

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Yes emulators that will allow you to play games on your PSP like nintendo 64 and gameboy advance games. Homebrew apps are basically apps made by consumers like you and me to perform specific functions whether they are games or do something else.

selfish3r1k96 November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

what do u mean by emulators are u talking about like game boy or Nintendo emulator’s so u can play game boy games on a psp??and what are homebrew apps

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Alright it seems there is no hack for the 5.1 as of yet but when there is and I hear about it I will make another tutorial on how to hack the 5.1 firmware.

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

No problem I’m just trying to help some people out.

TechBookGeeks November 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

This will hack the PSP firmware to allow you to run emulators and homebrew apps.
